Posada

Posada

The ‘Castello della Fava’ overhangs with its ruins the pretty town of Posada, located on the eastern coast and clinging on to a limestone cliff decorated with lentisk.

The castle dates back to the XII century and it was erected by Pisani. From the top of the tower, reachable with a wooden staircase, it is possible to enjoy a wonderful view over the sea, the mouth of the Posada river and the large plain that surround it. Directing towards the internal area, it is possible to admire the Posada lake, one of the many artificial ponds of Sardinia, surrounded by pinewoods.
