La caletta

La caletta

It is a hamlet of the Siniscola town, from which it is about 7 kilometers, on the central eastern coast of the island. During the winter, it is a small place with just over than 2000 inhabitants.

However, during the summer, it turns into a great tourist attraction thanks to its beautiful and very long beach and thanks to its tourist harbor, very well equipped and protected by two piers, one of which has quays everywhere. La Caletta (whose Sardinian name is ‘Sa Marina’) is dominated by the gorgeous San Giovanni coastal tower dating back to XVI-XVII centuries.
