Budoni

Budoni

It lies between small inlets, spectacular cliffs and long beaches of extremely fine white sand and, to frame this wonderful view, there are hills abundant in very thick Mediterranean stain with the ‘Nuraghe Su Entosu’, the ‘Nuraghe Conca e Bentu’ and the ‘Domus de Jana l’Agliola’.

Another element assumes a great touristic importance, the Ottiolu port which is equipped with boat moorings and lots of services from where people can depart for small cruises in order to admire gorgeous inlets. Without any doubt, tourists should visit the ‘Stazzi di San Pietro’, i.e. typical houses of the ‘Gallura’ area which date back to the XVII century.

Some of them have been built with stones, mud and cement with colored interns and a peculiar stone base which runs all along the façade creating a seat. When deciding to visit Budoni, tourists can’t leave out almost 22 different hamlets, such as Agrustos and Tanaunella that remind the urban layout typical of a ‘Nuragic’ village.
